My little sister told me that she got ambushed today at work. She works at a little gas station and convenience store out in the sticks. They hit a slow period and were bored, so she and a couple of other girls who work there each got a can of whipped cream from the cold case and started spraying the Redi-Whip into each other’s mouths. But then someone missed and got the stuff in the other girls hair and the whipped cream war was ON!

I bet that was fun but I sure hope they don’t fire her dumb ass for horseplay at work. You know they’ve got video tape of everything that goes on in those stores? I bet her boss has a total shit fit when he sees what they were doing. She needs that job, but then again, a girl has got to have a little harmless fun once in a while, too.

She can transfer them to my Nook and I can read them on there. I love my Nook. I can take it anywhere and have tons of books on it. I may have to get one that plays movies as well.  I recently heard that they made one like that. I am not sure. I will have to research it and find out. I hope they are not too expensive, but they probably are. I can wait till they come down in price or buy a used one if I want. There is a great store nearby that has used phones and high tech gadgets for half the price you pay for them new.

I am a lover of the blues thanks to my mom. The Blues are really good for those times in your life when everything seems to be wrong. it lets you know that you are not the only one with problems and you can commiserate with the songs. I think when I go to this concert, I will dress eighties style rock just for fun. Big hair and make up with skin tight clothes are not that much different today, but the style will be telling. I might even take my mom to the concert, because I know I will have more fun with her there then I will with my friends.

We have a lot of fun camping on the river with the pontoon boat. We have an island that we set tents up on as well as a rope swing. It has a nice beach for kids to play on and it is such a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family. We went every other weekend last summer and I anticipate more this summer. We have gotten good at setting up and striking camp, so it doesn’t take as long as it did when we first started. My brother in law tries to get out there after work on weekends to weed eat the area we camp at and keep it cleaned up.

So I’m shopping for a pair of rain boots. I can’t believe that I’m having to buy boots at all – it’s not like I’m a little kid that you stick galoshes on. But, I don’t want to ruin my $200 pair of Madden’s, either. So I found these really cute boots online and I’m ordering those suckers today.

The ones I like are called “Sloggers” Have you seen them? Aren’t they kick ass? I love the light blue color – just the thing I need to brighten up my morning dash through the mud to my car!

So today I was running late and had to hurry up and get out of the house and on the road. I knew that I didn’t have time to make coffee myself. I was sitting at the traffic light by McDonalds and noticed that there was not a single car in the line for the drive through. So I got the bright idea to pull into the Golden Arches and get a quick cup of coffee from the drive through.

Got the coffee, and I don’t usually add sugar or creamer to my coffee, but they gave me some with it. After I got back on the road, I tried to take a sip and almost spit it out. It was fucking AWFUL. At the next light I tried putting some sugar and creamer into it – to help cut the nastiness. It didn’t work. I couldn’t drink that crap. I tossed that shit out the window and had to wait until I got to work to make a fresh cup there.

Never again, McD’s. You might make good french fries but your coffee SUCKS.

I haven’t been to many movies in the theater this past year so I am unsure of what movies and people are even nominated, but it always gives me a good clue of what to see later. The show and the entertainment are always good and the host always funny. Usually it is Billy Crystal lately who is host, and he is a riot. I will have to look up the Oscars later today to get a picture of what will happen and who is hosting. As for the nominees, I know they are the best of the best and will never disappoint. I am so excited to see the show I can barely sit still. I want it to be now.

Then they wonder why we wont have anything to do with them. Talk about assholes. Oh well, we shall fend them off as we always do and have a great time anyway. Sheila is even going with us and that is unusual, since she is married with kids now and doesn’t really go out anymore. Not that I blame her, she is a good wife and mother. I am happy she is going tonight though. Her husband is so understanding and would not have a problem with her going more often but she prefers to stay at home most of the time.

Oh well, what ever happens, happens. I can always go to the big boss if they try to fire me and attempt to explain. Not that it matters, as I have an impeccable resume. I have had four different companies try to lure me away from where I work to go with them.  So I am going to take my happy ass out to lunch early and not worry about it. I think I will go to Applebee’s. I love their lunch specials. They have that pick and pair lunch option that is awesome. So, I am going to go enjoy a nice lunch and let my boss stew over his asinine behavior.

I hope my tax return comes in soon, because I am going to give them some money to help out. It isn’t much but they really need it more than I do, so I will do what is needed. I know he will try to refuse, but I have no intention of taking no for an answer. I am just going to put the money in an envelope with a letter and then go visit them just to say hi. I will leave the letter in their house right as I leave so he can’t refuse it. I hope he doesn’t act stubborn.

Oh well, I guess a new car is ok so long as I can find something I actually like. There are a few car lots near my house with nice vehicles, but I am sure they are going to be too expensive. That means I am going to have to travel into the city and find a lemon lot, or go to Kentucky and see what my friend has on his lot. Sometimes he is good and has a deal, but most of the time he is as bad as most of the other lots. I think it mostly depends on his mood.

That can only mean one thing, the movie is going to ROCK ! Mark is so hot, and all of his movies are action packed just the way I like them. I love the explosives and guns going off with high speed chases all over creation. It is like chocolate for me. I know I am a chick and supposed to like mushy chick flicks, but I just can’t do it. I have to have lots of thrills in my movies. I can literally count on one hand the number of chick flicks I actually like or have even seen.

Now I am listening to Nikki on You Tube because I couldn’t resist her music after talking about her here. Y.U. Mad is a great song ! Of course anything with Nikki and Lil Wayne has to be awesomeness. Lil Wayne has a lot of great music that I really love too. He is so talented in every way. You have to have respect for people who come up out of the ghetto and make a fabulous career for themselves. All it takes is to be determined to succeed and you will do it. Never let anything get in your way.
